If you have never experienced the Davio's difference, it is worth a visit. Steve DiFillippo's published a book called "It's all about the Guest" If you have not read this book, it is a good read. They do service right. We had reservation and the Red Sox game went into extra innings. We didn't have enough time to change and make our reservation. We showed up in our Red Sox best. We got a few looks, but the staff was amazing never the less. The manager came over and asked us how the game was and tanked us for coming. We all enjoyed a steak and they were everything we expected. A great Guest Experience.
Tracy and I were on a long weekend and we wanted to eat on the water. GG's was recommended and it did not disappoint. It was so good we dined there 2 nights in a row. The service was amazing and the food exceptional. On our second visit, the manager came over and said, weren't you 2 here last night? I recommend the Beef Tips appetizer, the steaks are great and the Chilean Seabass is amazing. Had it twice, prepared the same both times. Add to your list when in that area.
Talk about Southern Hospitality, they have it. We have been visiting Nags Head NC for some time and never visited this restaurant. A friend recommended and we booked a reservation. We got there a few minutes early and had a drink from the bar. The bar tender treated us like old friends, and everyone at the bar was very cordial. We were seated shortly after our reservation time. The the staff was very attentive, given they were extremely busy. The food was outstanding. It is a must visit if on the outer banks. Make your reservation in advance.
If you like Sushi and Steaks, you are going to enjoy this restaurant. Tracy likes a good steak and I enjoy good sushi. We have never had bad server, nor a bad meal at this location. The staff is always engaging and we always get a visit from one of the managers. Food quality and value match to make it a very good experience.

A friend said you have to go to this restaurant if you like authentic Roman Italian food. We were not disappointed. You felt like part of the family and the food were outstanding. You have to take your appetite with you, the portions are large like being at Granma's house. The fresh bread and pasta are memorable. Great value and you will leave with a to-go box... The old fashion feel of the building is part of the allure and ambiance.
Looking for a Breakfast or Brunch place after a night in Boston, you have to visit. The selection is amazing. You may stand in line for a few minutes, but the wait is well worth it. That gives you time to experience one of their Bloody Mary's. One of the best I have had, and very decorative. The service is good and the staff are very engaging. We had to visit twice to make sure the first visit was misleading. Highly recommend if you like good food and variety for breakfast.
I have been to this restaurant for years and every time I go it is consistent. The service is good and the food is amazing. My go to is the Chilean Seabass. I have had their Whole Red Snapper and other dishes, they are all amazing. The server is good and the view is outstanding. Winter or summer, it is a great place to visit.
This is also a staple when we are looking to take guest from out of town. The food and service are always top notch. They have a great wine selection and wine tasting. The food and service is always consistent.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend. This is a Boston Based company, however, the new CEO is from Virginia. The restaurant opened in 2023. We recently visited and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Called to make a reservation and the Manager answered the phone. He took my reservation and said i will see you when you arrive. He was not just saying that; after we were seated he came over and said hello. The service and the food was amazing. Tracy had the Chicken Cordon Blue and I have the Grilled Red snapper. Food was well prepared and the teamwork of the staff was outstanding. Everything is freshly prepared. They also cater to Allergies and also have a gluten Free menu. We cannot wait to check out their brunch menu after church.
The restaurants that make our "Gold List" are restaurants that we have visited and have received exceptional service. While we have dined at more restaurants than the ones on this list, these are the establishments we feel have a commitment to exceeding their guest expectations.
